Putting your health first:
We aim to give you best possible service but if you have a complaint please speak to the manager as soon as you can. The matter will be handled in line with the NHS national complaints procedure. If we cannot resolve the problem or you do not want to raise it directly with us, you can contact your local lambeth clinical commissioning group. We welcome suggestions about improving the services we offer at the pharmacy.
If in any circumstances you require an emergency supply, the pharmacist will make a decision and appropriate medication will be given out, depending on the state of emergency. For further information please contact the pharmacist.
Information about Prescription Medicines:
Many of the medicines we dispense for you are supplied in the manufactures original pack complete with a leaflet containing information about the medicine which is required by law. Please speak to the pharmacist if there is anything in the leaflet which you are unsure about or if you want to know anything else.
Repeating Dispensing means patients having medicines dispensed in several installments direct from the pharmacy, rather than going back to your GP each time. You will receive repeatable prescriptions, which gives details of how many installments the prescription contains. For example it will instruct the pharmacist to dispense an installment each month for 6 months before you go back to the doctor review. This service is best suited to people with a long term condition such as asthma or diabetes where the medication they use is likely remain the same for period of 6 or 12 months. You can discuss whether this service is appropriate for you with your GP and with our Pharmacist.
Improved convenience- you do not need to visit the GP surgery every time you need further supplies of medicines. You’re less likely to run out of medicines- you can collect your medicines from the pharmacy even if the surgery is closed.
Repeat Collection Service:
We can collect your repeat prescription from your doctor’s surgery on your behalf so that you won’t even have to wait for your medicines to be dispensed. Please ask the pharmacist about this service.
